LOCAL 361 VETERANS PAGE

OUR DEBT TO THE HEROIC MEN AND WOMEN IN THE SERVICE OF OUR COUNTRY CAN NEVER BE REPAID. THEY HAVE EARNED OUR UNDYING GRATITUDE. AMERICA WILL NEVER FORGET THEIR SACRIFICE.

DAY AFTER DAY,  AS THE WEEKS TURN TO YEARS,

SOME OF US  HAVE DUTIES, WHERE THERE'S NO PLACE FOR FEARS.

MAKING OUR WORLD A SAFE PLACE TO BE,

FOR ALL OF OUR PEOPLE, FOR EACH FAMILY.

THIS  DUTY TAKES COURAGE, IT TAKES TEAMWORK AS WELL,

EVERY RESPONDER, HAS HIS OWN STORY TO TELL.

SO DIFFICULT A TASK, MOST DON'T HAVE THE NERVE,

THAT'S WHY IT'S IMPORTANT, TO SERVE THOSE THAT SERVE.

SO NOW IN SOME WAY, WE ARE TRYING TO EXPRESS,

OUR LOVE FOR THOSE, WHO GIVE MORE, AND TAKE LESS.

SINCE WORDS DON'T SAY ENOUGH, I WILL NOW CONCLUDE,

PLEASE ACCEPT OUR RESPECT, AND OUR TRUE GRATITUDE,

WILLIAM J. WAHLSTEEN    13:01:26     2014-05-06

It is vitally important that we reach out to our veterans and their families to advise them of programs       that offer assistance with medical and psychiatric care, benefits, job training and support services   critical to their well-being.

We owe the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our great nation, not only a   debt of gratitude but meaningful support.
